Travaglini, winemaker from Piedmont
Travaglini: A Legacy of Excellence in Gattinara Wine
A Family Tradition Since 1958
A family winery situated in the heart of the Gattinara hills in Piedmont, Travaglini has existed since 1958, the year in which Arturo Travaglini started to passionately produce his ‘Gattinara DOCG’, using that famous Piedmontese grape variety, Nebbiolo.
Leadership and Recognition
Today, his granddaughter Cinzia and her husband Massimo head up the family winery, which is the maker of one of the finest examples of the appellation being made today. Spread across 109 acres dedicated to winegrowing, the winery chiefly produces the famous Gattinara, which is unanimously praised by Italian and international critics alike.
Commitment to Quality
The passion that drives the Travaglini family and the hard work put in year after year since 1958 remains entirely dedicated to the production of a superior quality and to obtaining the best possible results, in the image of their Riserva and Tre Vigne, which are regularly ranked amongst the 50 best wines in Italy.
